Self Awareness

Self-awareness is the ability to assess how your actions, thoughts, or emotions align with your values and affect others. It is the ability to objectively  evaluate yourself and then  realign  yourself to match your values. Knowing who you are and what you want to be to others is the first step. What is important to you, and what kind of impact do you want to have on others? What do you value? Then, move on to self-evaluation. That is, taking the time to measure your growth, impact, and effectiveness. Why is self-awareness important? If you evaluate yourself at a certain level, but your impact and effectiveness don't match, there's a disconnect. Doing the work to measure your level of effectiveness matters and, if made a priority, will increase your growth and maturity. Great Resignation

For 7 months straight in 2021, people quit their jobs at record highs. But why? People were forced to evaluate what matters most to them, considering the pandemic. We all had to sit down and look in the mirror. No distractions, no delays—just you and me. I have completely changed my focus in the past two years. Prior to the pandemic, I had one thing on my mind: "money, money, money." Now, I value my time and flexibility more than money. I am actively evaluating and reassessing my goals to retire with dignity at an early age. Is one better than the other? That is a personal decision we all must make. Before you quit or resign, consider the following: Where do I want to be professionally or personally within the next 10 years? Am I financially prepared to take this risk?
